How It Works
Design: Crackle-finish green glass shaped like an apple, featuring a small entry hole at the bottom.
Bait: Filled inside with apple cider vinegar, a splash of fruit juice or wine, and 1 to 2 drops of liquid dish soap.
Mechanism: Flies crawl through the narrow opening attracted by the scent, but the dish soap breaks the surface tension, causing them to sink and stay trapped.
